I saw a link for WorldCat on the discovery service results page. Can I use that to request books?

Answer

No, you can't directly request books through WorldCat. It is, however, an excellent way to learn about the existence of books that might not be available either through Hiebert Library itself or from Link+. WorldCat is an unbelievably massive catalog, containing over 450 million records in 2019. If something has been published, there's a high likelihood that WorldCat knows about it. If you find it there, you can ask the library staff to help you get a copy.
